After nearly 18 years of delivering expert treatments and cultivating a loyal client base, we are expanding our team and looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and client-focused Salon Coordinator / Front of House Coordinator to join us.
About the Role:
As a key member of our team, the Salon Coordinator / Front of House Coordinator ensures the smooth daily operation of the salon and spa. This role bridges the front desk and the service team, delivering outstanding guest experiences while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. You’ll be responsible for delivering first-class customer service, supporting service providers during treatments, maintaining salon cleanliness, managing guest appointments, and upholding the Aveda brand experience.
Key Responsibilities Salon Coordinator Duties::
- Coordinate daily schedules and team break times with Front of House.
- Conduct daily stock checks and replenish backbar supplies.
- Support service providers with shampooing, hot towel rituals, Hair Spa services, stress-relieving rituals.
- Maintain the appearance of spa treatment rooms, manicure/pedicure stations, and guest areas.
- Deliver Aveda Sensory Experiences and rituals to all guests.
- Actively participate in the Salon Coordinator and Front of House training programme.
- Attend internal meetings, Aveda-sponsored training sessions, and professional development events.
- Be knowledgeable about all Aveda retail products to assist guests on the salon floor.
Front of House Duties:
- Answer phone calls and handle enquiries, bookings, and cancellations efficiently.
- Schedule appointments according to staff availability and salon procedures.
- Greet all guests warmly and offer refreshments and reading materials.
- Assist retail guests with product advice and sales.
- Communicate any changes in guest bookings to the team promptly.
- Handle bill payments, gift vouchers, and maintain accurate daily cashing-up reports.
- Keep the reception desk and retail area clean, tidy, and visually appealing at all times.
- Follow Health & Safety and Fire Safety protocols.
- Assist in resolving client concerns professionally, escalating to the Salon Manager when needed.
- Contribute to achieving salon sales targets through exceptional service and upselling.
- Act as a Salon & Spa Key Holder.
- Provide flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and attend necessary training.

Experience required:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is essential
- Prior front-of-house or salon/spa experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Aveda products or services is a plus but not required
- Previous experience using salon/spa software highly desirable
