After many months of research, we welcomed our first order from SlipSilk in September 2024. We chose to become a stockist of the beautiful SlipSilk products because the integrity of their silk, the careful manufacturing of their products and ultimately their care for their customers’ hair & skin, which made them the perfect partner for us. They were born in Australia as a business and have now become a cult global brand and we are super proud to be a stockist of their fabulous silk hair scrunchies, eye masks and pillowcases,
In 2003, Fiona, the creator of Slip, was prescribed acne medication which resulted in extremely sensitive skin and thinning hair. Her dermatologist recommended trying a silk pillowcase. After weeks of searching, Fi eventually sourced the best silk she could find and wrapped it around her pillow. The results were immediate and dramatic. She had stumbled upon a long-forgotten beauty secret.
Fiona and her partner both came from an advertising background and had an entrepreneurial spirit. The following year, they officially launched slip - the first silk pillowcase to be branded and marketed as a beauty product. Specially commissioned and made to their exacting standards using only the highest-grade long fibre pure mulberry silk, slipsilk provides the ultimate combination of shine, thickness, softness and durability.
